T&T Frame stiffners
I think before I get into the new XJ I'm going to add some of these stiffeners and maybe even the ones from TMR too like these
Anyone on here done this yet I would love to see some more installed pics!

I just installed a set of TNT stiffners on my XJ. They made a big difference. Even in just driving down the road. Most of the little creaks and rattles are gone. Worth every penny in my opinion.
I modified mine by drilling rosette holes for extra strength. Some say they are not needed. But I did it anyway.
Here are a few pics. Dont be alarmed by everything stained orange/brown. It is not rust. It is from the red rocks/dirt/mud from wheeling the Iron Range here in Minnesota. It turns everything a rusty color. These pics are before I fully welded it, it just shows some spot welds holding it in place.

I have TNT stiffiners. The stiffiness improvement was great.
When I got mine there was no other choice besides angle iron.
But, If I could do it again, I would go with Ruffstuff stiffiners.
They come with rosette holes and go to floor of unibody. This eliminates difficult fillet at side.
There is also a 10g stiffiner by HD

I also have the Tnt stiffeners. I punched holes in them as well for more strength. Then when I made my rock sliders I just tapped 1/2" holes right into them and its solid.

I have decided to try and make these my self If I can get the steel from this guy. He said he would sell me the 3/16" plate for $35 bucks and I have the tools to cut and bend it so let's hope it works out!
