sears buddy
they have an easy out set for just such occasions
comes with a ratchet wrench looking thing with i believe six sockets that fit into the wrench
kinda like a drill bit easy out only on the outside of the bolt head and no drillin needed
been there done that
oh and only about 20 bucks
well worth it being a jeep owner

If all else fails you could weld another bolt/nut to the plug and remove it that way. You will have to replace the plug, but right now you have to do that anyway.

Drop the crossmember so you can unscrew the vent fitting out of the top and fill it from there.
Just measure the amount going in so you know when its full.

Hammer and a chissel, just tap the chissel around the edges of the plug in the direction to loosen it, then replace the plug with a new one.
