T case drop
Ok so I was just cruising for a t case drop and all the picture I saw look like the drop consists of 4 bushings in metal tubes and longer bolts. From someone who has installed one, is this all they are? And if so, can I get away with cutting the eyes off the extra set of shocks I have (before they go to scrap), getting some longer bolts and washers for the top an bottom and using that. I know they only cost like $45 of so, but the measurements are right and saving $45 now gives me that to spend somewhere else on my project.

That's what I was seeing, they looked simple enough to build on my own and didn't want to spend where I don't have to since I'm laid off and on a tight budget.

I'm sure I can find something lying around somewhere, I only need 6 inches or so to work with.

Thanx, in NY, I think it's best to seal them up so I don't end up with a salt mine inside.
