Does anyone happen to know if the sensors on a tcase from a np231 out of a 97 xj are the same as the sensors on a np231 out of a 95 xj ? Both are connected to an aw4. i plan on doing a swap from a 97 to a 95 and would rather not pull both out and them not be a direct replacement Thanks for the help.

It should be the same or can be swapped. Not sure what year they changed the speedo from cable to wire but you can swap the gears and they work. I used a 231 out of a 89 in a 97 ZJ and it worked fine just check the spline count and length on the input.
