Only passing my knowledge I gained working at an insurance office for a few years.

And I will say, without any sway bar, the body does have a lot more wobble when making sudden moves or sharp corners. You'll feel it
not every vehicle has a rear sway stock.

Then of course it wouldn't matter... If it doesn't come factory then inspection wouldn't care. They look at stock specs, and seeing as my jeep came with one off the lot in 2000, it matters. If you have to have an inspection done, worse case, leave it on then take it off after. Or rig up some cheap dissconnects in the mean time.

Do what you want, Its your life and I dont live in PA
I call pure bs on this you can roll anything if you don't know how to drive doesn't matter if you have dual sways front and rear and a lowered car.

well as you know we dont have inspection here, and I doubt they would even look to see if you modified or removed a sway bar in the event of a crash.

either way, ive been meaning to make some disco's for the front, will prolly do that today since its actually a nice day for once.

Swaybars are not a safety device....they are an upgrade to a suspension setup that helps top heavy vehicles corner better.

Nothing more, nothing less. If you drive like a normal person then you will be fine. I haven't had them ever and i hardly notice.

Sent from my iPhone because web wheeling is cheaper...

Helps prevent rollovers, far as I'm concerned. But again I will say, if your state has an inspection chances to fail are 99% higher if your vehicle came with a sway bar and you removed it. Can't think of the exact words, but it's more strict state to state.

Call your state police or what not and ask. If your good, than by all means, take em off! You should be fine with normal use. I've removed my rear, but I QDC my front.

Not trying to turn this into an argument, seems to be that no one can be right here. I just want to throw my 2 cents in. Still makes it fun to see all the opinions lol. Thanks guys

Correct on the inspection here... But damn the emissions test!! Some police reports that I had gotten in our office had stated that some "things" were missing from the vehicles set up, so in the end full coverage claims were denied. I can admit its a matter of luck!!!!! Mind you this is washington I'm talking about

Drawing a brain fart... Think it's every 2-4 years. Must to re new tabs...
Here's also a site I've used before. Maybe it's a start to help find your PA laws?

http://www.liftlaws.com/washington_lift_laws.htm

Gotta edit this, here's the main site for all states!
