Default sway bar swap question

If anyone could help me figure this one out that'd be great. I just bought a 00 XJ sport and last night while I was at work a guy Mark from this site came up with his 98. We were talking for a while when he told me about being able to change out the sway bars from a grand cherokee b/c they are one piece and solid. I was so caught up in looking at the Jeep I forgot to ask what years I can get that sway bar from and what other things I have to do for it to fit.

If anyone knows about this the help would be great or if you have any other helpful tricks.
thanks
Nick

Out of all the things to upgrade, I don't know what good a better sway bar would be... All it does is link the two sides of the suspension, preventing rollovers. A needed safety feature (in the front at least, mine didn't come with a sway bar in the rear) but that's all it is.

I think a Cherokee would flip before the sway bar bent.

Front End & Steering:
1. ZJ V8 Tierods = beefier & bolt in
2. WJ Knuckles/Tierods/Draglinks = beefier and crossover steering
3. Durango Steering Box = beefier
4. 350 or 351 Power Steering Pump = helps with oversize tires (requires welding)
5. WJ LCA's = more tire clearance (some grinding required)
6. ZJ pitman arm = 1 inch drop over stock
7. WJ rear LCA's = replace XJ front LCA's, 2" longer to accommodate a lift, some grinding required
8. WJ power steering pump (fits '96+, plug return hole, and use XJ pulley)
9. V8 ZJ front sway-bar
10. JK rear UCA = use as XJ LCA, its about 1-2" longer
