sway bar quick disconnects

i went to the hardware store today and bought some trailer hitch pins and washers and used them with a pin what do you guys think?
what do you use to keep the sway bar link out of the way of the coils and axle when its dissconnected?
I would think[could be wrong] that the swaybar link thats still attached to the sway bar would get in the way of stuff.

Like this JKS sway bar is out of the way of the front suspension where as yours will be sitck out towards the coils and junk,... unlesss you take the top nut off and totally remove the link

some ppl just use zip ties, dpg off road makes a cable to hold them out of the way. my disconnects came with a other post that u screw into your rig that the disconect attach too

how tight of a fit is the hitch pin in the sway bar mount that comes off of the axle?

thanks for your opinions im not going to be doing too much stuff untill i get my lift but then im gonna get different link arms but i did break both of the old link arms just messing around so i thought this would be a quick fix untill i get my lift...
