Default sway bar question

i got some questions about the sway bar. how big of a lift do u have to have until it doesnt fit right. do u have to extend the links or something. and what are the quick disconnects and what do they do? what do u do about the rear sway bar?

well im nt sure about the lift since i aint got one,but the quick disconnects simpley get rid of the use of them and helps u flex, good investment,nd u dnt need a rear sway bar,i dnt have one and theres no difficulty driving it at all

usually anything over 3in lift u will need new, longer stab links, and longer brake lines. possibly a sye, lower control arms, and a trac bar. i have only gone 3in due to the money situation that we are all going thru since the great depression!!!

i have a 2 inch with stock sway bar links. its kinda stretch but they fit. a 3 inch lift most likely come with extended sway bar links. sway disconnects allow you to disconnect your sway bar to allow your suspension to fully flex. its on there so when your driving your body doesnt roll and you flip. i drove with my links off for about 4 days and it was horrible, i could hardly go around a corner at 10 mph, i thought i would flip. but disco's are deffenatly worth it. i just made my own. ill get a picture up in a sec

i dont have front or rear sway bars. I drive my 5" lifted rig at 70+ sometimes, no issues. It basically gives a good % more flex and one less thing to break. This is all on 33x12.5x15 tires..I just dont AutoX in it is all and Im alright

oh, this is not my dd either though...

these are disco's but they are still extended for 4-6 inch lift. it took me about 45 seconds to find. http://roughcountry.com/jeep_xtras_xj-disconnects.html
