I guess the others that have said its scary, sketchy, or "a death wish" don't know what they are talking about.

Or you just like answering for them? Cuz its not about feeling scared, right?

Have you ever looked at the back of your driver's side sun visor?

There is a disclaimer that warns you NOT to make sudden turns or swerves. Doing that with a stock truck could cause it to roll.

So when you swerve to avoid that other car or that deer, just keep in mind you aren't suppose to do that.

AKA, your doing something wrong.

I sure as hell don't swerve for anything. I give myself plenty of distance, and it someone chooses to wrongly pull in front of me or a deer jumps out, I coudln't care less if they meet my front end at full force.

They'll be lucky if I touch the brakes.

Exactly! I know what I'm doing, but in a town full of fast and furious rice rockets you never know what could happen.

Natural selection.

If that kid's parents haven't taught them not to run in the street then its not my responsibility.

If that kid is too young to be taught and needs supervision its not getting, its the parent's responsibility and not mine.

Not to mention I'm a sport bike rider at heart. It has been drilled into my head to never out drive my brakes. I learned the hard way when some *** decided to ignore a stop sign and hit me.

If I'm driving down a street with kids, I know exactly where each one is and what they are doing. If I can't see them, then I'm driving slow enough to be able to stop within inches.

And if they are playin in non-residential areas, a sway bar is going to do little to nothing if you swerve. Your still in a top heavy SUV.

Basically I know how to drive. Not just how to drive a car, but how to know what other drivers and pedestrians are doing and going to do. If there is a chance of any problems, I avoid the situation.

Its not impossible, its much easier than it sounds.

I'm cheap. I never bought quick discos. It literally takes 3 to 5 minutes, probably less to just put a wrench on the fronts and disconnect them.

After the first time of course. My end links were so rusted they broke the first time. But cheap/easy fix. I just use a crescent and take them off in the parking lot before I hit the trails.

Either way...disco them somehow.
Nice flex!
