Personally i would gets some disco's for the front if your jeep is primarily a DD! If it's mostly in town driving (under 35mph) I wouldn't worry to much... but if your at all on the highways and such I would definitely leave it hooked up (that's what it's designed to do...anti-sway)! If you choose to go without it just be careful about swerving and sharp cornering...it does make a difference! Just my $.02

Ya agreed man I broke the bolt that connects my disco to my swaybar and drove it for one day(its my dd). It gets sketchy.

i drove it on the freeway with the sway bar disconnected up front and it is like driving a boat...not so safe i would say. ditch the rear, it is unneeded, and get discos for the front.

Like everybody else said . . ditch the rear sway bar and disco the front . . taking the front sway bar off is almost a death wish . . the money on quick discos will be well worth it . . and if your too cheap you can always make your own

My old XJ had a 4.5 in lift with no sway bars. It does get scary at times, but I got use to it. I had the spare on the roof rack and it did make a big difference. It made it a lot worst. It was also my DD. For highway speeds I would say you need at least a front one.

How does not having the front sway bar connected get scary?
You know its disconnected, are you trying to drive like your in a F1 car?
I've taken mine on several hour-long freeway trips and never once had any issue. I've never had any scary or near death situations.
Once I was going over some train tracks at 35mph and got a 30ft DW experience, but after 3 seconds it was gone. And it wasn't on the freeway.
I must be really uber good at driving, my truck has never "scared" me in any way.
