Default sway bar disconnect issues

Has anyone ever had this issue with leaving your sway bar disconnects connected while wheeling? they are the proper ones for my lift and my bump stops are correct. I just dont know what i could do to solve this issue. It poked thru my air box. I think the worse of the damage is done but i want to fix it, Specially if it is going to cause any issues

and yes i still need to do a bit more power washing...

yeah, looking at the damage its more than the bolt tho. The bolt would not cause THAT big of a hole.... I am going to do that, but what else needs to happen tho?

True! i wish but they are a pain in the rear.... you have to get them exactly right or the pin will not go in... i am going to modify them and drill a bigger hole so i can tho =]

Drilling that hole larger may cause an aweful rattle. Just pull the pins and reassemble them with the right size hammer.LOL

i was thinking that I would just i could just drill out the bar and not the "mount" because it is a tight fit, so if i just drill out the bar would it still rattle?
