im asking this for a buddy of mine who just bought a xj, it didnt come with a tcase, it had a 231 in it. hes picking up a tcase tomorrow, but the guy wasnt sure which one it was. it was out of a 94 xj auto, and my buddys is a 00 xj auto. if its a different tcase will it still work or is there anything that is going to need to be done. also they guy said it needs a speedometer housing or something? is that an easy thing to replace?
