swaping my 90's wireing harness
so iv got some problems wire the wiring in my 90..what do u guys think about swapping everything out to 91-97 set up.iv got most of everything but the harness/pcm/..my main thoughts is what do i need to change besides all senders,intake and exhaust(all ready got a ho engine swapped in)manafold,thoughts..this would also give me the better injection .thanks

I wouldn't tackle a job that big unless there was something really wrong. Like maybe an engine bay fire. A swap to 97+ basically means stripping the Jeep down to the chassis. Pretty much everything is different.
Like Cruiser said, what's wrong with your '90? No C101 so it can't be that bad unless you had a fire.

I dont want to hyjack the thread, but my 90 did have an engine fire but the only part of the harness that really got harmed were the injector pigtails. Cant I just splice some replacement pigtails in and have it be ok? The cps and tps pigtails got a little fried too, but I didnt want to mess with those and upset the readings that the sensors would get.

There's no fuse for the charging system.
This could be a super simple fix. Please report back with more details.

You solder and shrink tube the connections.
This is what my neighbor did to eliminate the C101 connector on his 87 XJ.

i know there is NO fuse for the charging...the crap app + my crap phone = fail. charging really drops when im running my head lights and the fans kick on or when winching

If you are seeing the voltage drop at the dash gauge, understand that they are notoriously inaccurate. Put a voltmeter directly at the battery to see exactly what your voltage is at.
