I have a RE 3.5" suspension on my 95 Cherokee. It says it can be installed on Cherokees up to 98. I recently purchased a 01 Cherokee and i would like to swap over my lift kit. Does anyone know what would stop this from being done and what i would need to do in order to make this possible if it is at all.

 

They now say 01 on there site and I can't see where you would have any issues. Just remember to get new u-bolts for the rear axle because they stretch over time.

 

I took rear leafs off a 95 and put them on my 97. And as u already know the new XJ is 97 to 01. Should be fine.

 

Suspension is fully interchangeable from 84-01.
