Question suspension questions

I have my XJ on 6.5 inchs of lift with add a leaf with spacer and shackles.
i recently did a rough country control arm drop it.
i will be adding ajustable upper and lower control arms good up until 8 inchs of lift..
im am thinking of getting 6.5 inch leaf springs and 7 inch coil spring in the front to level it, with a total of 8.5 inchs of lift.
i know idealy a long arm set up is best but id rather utilize the control arm drop kit..
anything i should look out for?
any information or tips is appricated

at that height you are probably geting close to maxing out the control arm drop IMHO theres no reason to go beyond 6.5 that things gonna be really top heavy and wanting to roll alot easier plus you may be looking at longer driveshafts and a bunch of other crap not worth it IMHO

How about a few pictures of your rig? I see you don't have any... How about an agressive fender cutting session if what you want is to run bigger tires?

I think I can help out with that one....

Taken about 1/2hr ago.
Lil Red and Kaustic's 2dr.

Kaustic is one of my good customers.
He has the A-pillar light mounts, just hasn't gotten them on...YET.
And just before this pic was taken, I handed him a set of the 2-dr aluminum diamond-plate thresholds.
ENJOY, my friend.

Your front driveshaft will hate you if you still have the stock front low pinion Dana 30. Swap it for a high pinion for angle purposes. Also, I would highly recommend a long arm setup.
