surging RPM's
ok so yesterday after i filled up my 89 cherokee, 4.0 auto 4x4, it started fine as usual, but then it surged up to 2000 RPM and stood there till i turned her off and started again and ran fine, its the first time its done that and im curios as to what may cause this? thx guys

Mine does the samething once in awhile,if i leave the key on and then start it it will do this,I think what causes it is the tps,i know from exsperience that if the idle stays up there you can adjust the tps to get the idle you want.
