Superwinch lp 8500
so i got the winch for xmas and i was wondering if the stock alternator on my 94 will hold up to it. also if anyone has one of these how did you wire it cause the instructions were ***** and im not that great with wireing

The alternator will hold it, but if you plan on running it with the engine off, don't do it for a long time because it will drain your battery. For the wiring part, would do a search online first then ask if you find it confusing.

Your right but sometimes you don't have the choice. As long as you have a good batt, and your only using it for as little time as possible. NOT the best I understand but there has been times that the heep is being a heep. hahaha

This may help with the wiring. Its fairly generic, I wouldn't use the disconnect unless you can remove the winch.

i may have never ran a winch before and havent had my jeep that long but im not that stupid to run the accessories with out the jeep running ive wired up lights out the ***** on my trucks i had in iraq but they had hydrolic winches allready built into them thats why im askin if the alternator will hold up not if the pattery will hold up because even thou im a "newbie" im just a newbie to this forum not to the world of workin on your stuff

the link helps a lil bit but my thing is superwinch sent this thing that looks like a set of three relays or something that im assuming i need to wire up but i just dont kno where to place them in the wireing
