Must be your jeep didn't like your girlfriend.

 

I had my exhaust come loose and twist, pushing the silencer box close to the floor. My friend in the back worryingly said, your floors smoking.

 

BAHAHAH. My girlfriend kept telling me she smelled smoke while we were climbing the hill going up to Angelus Oaks in California. Couple miles up the hill I start seeing smoke when the sun hits the inside of the car and I pulled over and move all the stuff we had in the back seat, behold fire XD. Scared the crap out of me I thought their was an electrical short of some sorts. Sucks though I ended up ripping all the carpet out very aggressively with a knife because I was not about to see my Jeep go up in flames so I don't have a complete carpet now.... It had gotten so hot that the sealant that holds the drain plug in place had melted and that's why the heat was able to access the inside of the vehicle so easily.

Lesson learned when your girlfriend says she smells something DO NOT BLAME IT ON THE AC XD

 

The Five Rules:

1. Cars are real.

3. FIRE WILL BURN YOU.
4. You can NOT fly.
5. You're NOT going to die.

Seems like you forgot about #3.

Also, carry an extinguisher in the vehicle at all times.
