Default Suggest for 100K tune up

I am going to take my jeep to the dealer ship when I get back from my deployment and would like some suggetions of what all i should expect to need to replace/check for a 100K tune up. Anything would help. I would do it myself but I want to chill when I get home. Thanks.

First of all, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!

Kind of hard to say exactly what you will need without knowing the history of maintenance on this vehicle..

Basics though for a 2000 include fresh plugs, you have a coil pack system so no plug wires, distributor cap or rotor.

Check/replace air filter.

Fresh fluids are always a good thing. That includes oil, coolant, transfer case, differentials, transmission.

You have a 2000, which has the "infamous" 0331 cylinder head which is prone to cracking upon an overheat. Therefore, you need to be extra diligent about everything related to your cooling system.

11 year old hoses can fail at any time; they can look okay but start to fail from the inside out. Replace them; there are only 4 of them. For the thermostat, go with a high quality one like one from Jeep or the Stant SuperStat. 195 degree only.

Check/replace serpentine belt if it has over 60k on it. Goodyear Gatorback is a good choice.

Good luck!

First response was on the money.
At 100k I'd have a good look at the water pump and fan clutch.
I'm sure they will hook the computer up which will detect issues with any sensors.

And make sure what they tell you sounds ,right. They will look at this like " o, 10 year old Jeep , lets try to sell him a bunch of stuff he doesn't need"
-Happened to my mother at Nissan last week( There is now a service manager looking for a job)

1 thing I would add for tune-up with the coil rail is have them change the spark plug booths while they are doing the plugs thats what I have in mind for my 00xj and of course t-stat and anti-freeze
