i have yet to do a stereo in mine but someone put a big cd changer under the back seat on the driverside.... like opposite of the jack and stuff... based on the size of the cd changer my guess is any amp would fit there too lol

I put mine under the back seat, the amp I have fit perfectly under the seat, with enuff air space around it to keep it cool.

1999 XJ Cherokee Limited with the Infinity gold upgrade has factory fit amp under the rear seat on the left side (US drivers side).

Mounted my amps right to my sub box and they work just fine with no over heating or any other rattles. Here's a pic of the box I built for my XJ:

I have a truck box behind my back seat and the amp is just mounted to the back of that.

I mounted my amp directly to the back of my sub box. It generates too much heat to be ran under the seat. You can do it, you just have to be mindful of the heat issues and see if it is having over heating problems. Typically smaller amps, under 500w RMS, should be fine under the seat.

Yeah I have to remember to have my box pulled out a little bit or it's too much heat
