STUPID JEEP
So it rained at my house today and not only have i not gotten my windows to work again but i forgot that when it gets wet out the jeep dosent like to start stupid jeep any ideas guys ita a 88 4.0 with ba 10/5 only when its wet out ill come home after work and it will start rigth up

It will crank all day it will flood with gas ive done almost all of cruiseres renix tips fixed the wiring it was doing it before i did a cap and rotor on it and after no hood vents hood stays closed all the time the windows are always down but it wasnt flodded with water in the cabin seat just a lil wet it was so cal rain noting heavy.

hmmm. Check and make sure all your wire clips are engaged and boots seated over them, including the coil wire. I sure I saw someone asked earlier if the cap was seated properly, probably wouldn't hurt to check again.
An old school trick is while its dark and the engine is running (be mindful of the fan and belt!) spray the wires with water from a spray bottle, the subsequent engine stumble and/or arc is a dead give away when you've found the suspect.

Another old school technique to check the ignition is to tune the AM radio between stations and see if you can hear any arcing. If you hit the gas and the pitch changes in the radio, there is an issue. Cap and rotor are so weak in this design.
