Default stumped... jeep stuck at shop

ive been having some issues latley that are pointing to a weak fuel pump so i decided to put a pressure gauge on it and drive home like that to see if fuel pressure would drop when it studdered. put the gauge on and i have 10psi.... ok dump the pressure cycle the key and try again... no i have no pressure and it wont even start... get another gauge and confirm zero pressure. couldnt hear the pump run at this point. pulled pump out found a broken wire connector on pump ground SWEET! fixed that had 50psi started right up.. finished up some other little stuff went to leave and boom no start no fuel pressure. CAN hear pump run. over the next couple hours ended up replacing filter replacing pump and regulator and blowing out fuel line. still cannot get any pressure. pulled line at pump outlet and it spits out a good bit.... what gives??? only thing i can think of is the new fuel pump just isnt worth a crap and cant build pressure anybody have this issue?

I have had bad luck with Delphi fuel pumps. Carter and Bosch are better choices.
