Default stumbling, hesitating and misfire code on my 97

Hi all,

Just bought my first jeep a month ago and am loving it.
Its a 97 Cherokee SE, 4.0 with 102000 mile on the clock, a 4.5 - 5" lift and 33x12.50's with some fender trimming and TJ flares.

What I'm not loving is the misfire issue I've been having as of the past week or so.
Stumbles a bit at idle and hesitates while accelerating. There is no lack of power or torque. It gets a bit worse as the engine warms up. The check engine light will come on only if it sits and idles for a little less than 10 minutes. I read the 43 misfire code from the odometer and changed out, the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and even the coil. Still the same problem. Purchased some sea foam and use it as directed, not much difference but a little better. Went to my local auto parts store and checked it with their code reader to try an narrow down the problem and its a misfire on the #1 cylinder (P0301).

At this point I'm thinking its a bad fuel injector on the #1 cylinder.
Is there anybody that might know what may be causing my issues before I go and remove the fuel rail.

Thanks in advance,
Chris
