Default Strut coil compress options

I have a lift kit sitting in my garage. I want to put it on monday. I cant find a buddy with a strut/coil compressor for the life of me. I went to napa. $120!!! Any way to get the coils off safely without this?? Any help soon will be great before I have to postpone installing the lift. Thanks.

I didn't use one either. Just use the jack to keep pressure on them until you get everything loose. Let the jack down and they just kind fall out. Putting them back in is the hard part but I managed to do it alone with a pry bar and that was with 4" lift coils.

you could unbolt the track bar, and lower control arms. that will drop the axle enough.

I didn't even have to unbolt the lower control arms.

Trac bar, shocks, sway bar.

Lift one side with a jack to get the other side to droop more, the spring will literally fall out if the retainer is unbolted. Then just do the same to the other side.

Yea out is easy, in is the part that you may need a helper, but its done pretty easily. Fastest part of the install process.
