Strong fuel odor for days after filling tank?

Default Strong fuel odor for days after filling tank?

What is causeing this? Everytime I fill my tank it smells really bad for a few days. Just filled it tonight and I can smell it from my garage and its parked 60 feet away. Ive checked for leaks and come up with nothing.Help!

have you looked at the seal on top?

Check the fuel line coming into the regulator. I have seen several leak at that junction.

The seal on top of the gas tank? And where is the regulator?

Fuel regulator is the small cylinder on the front of the engines fuel rail. It has a vacuum line running to it.

OK Troy it can be dangerous to have leaking fuel so close to hot exhaust.

The seal on top where you remove your pump.

Ok , I looked at it today and still cant find a leak but I did narrow it down to the rear of Jeep. The smell is 10xs worse when you get to the rear of vehicle. Still dont know what it is yet . Any ideas? Its not under the hood.
