Stripped Radiator Connection line to Transmission
Thanks in advance for any help you guys might be able to provide.
I replaced the radiator today in my 1993 Cherokee Sport 6cyl. Everything came out fine and went back in fine except for the line from the transmission to the radiator.
The bolt that came with the radiator would go into the transmission line fine and the radiator fine, but would not go into either one with the other one attached. It makes no sense whatsoever to me.
So long story short I stripped the part coming out of the radiator. It now drips transmission out of that connection spot now.
Any help here? Is there any kind of super sealant that I could put on that? Duct tape the crap out it?
I guess I could just buy another radiator and try again but thought I would ask the experts before I try that.
Thanks for any help.

if all els fails a trans cooler would be cheaper then a new radiator.. just run a separate cooler in font of the condenser. I got mine for 19$ but piggy backed the factory one. a mid duty to heavy duty towing cooler should work great if you end up going this way.

Thanks for all of the advice guys!
I ended up using a Multi Metal Epoxy and just completely covered the bolt and threads and it seemed to do the trick...no leaks.
The downside is that it probably won't ever come off now but that's okay because the next time I do the radiator I will just have to buy and remove Trans cooler line and replace them both.
Thanks again!
