Strange vibration
Hello everyone. I'm new here, first post, go easy on me.
I just picked up a '92 Cherokee with 170k miles. It's all stock and the body is in decent shape, interior is decent and everything is pretty clean. I noticed it had a somewhat rough idle when I was looking at it. I think it may have been sitting for awhile. Anyway, when I started driving it, it would get these severe vibrations. At first I was thinking engine mounts, but it happened almost randomly at any speed/RPM,. It did seem to happen most often when I was letting off the gas but not braking, or when it felt like the engine might have been bogging just a bit, usually between 1400-2000 RPM. Application of the gas pedal often would smooth it out. After about an hour on the freeway it did seem to smooth out a bit.
Any ideas? I'm hoping it just needs a good tune up and this isn't something serious.
Oh, is there anything specific I should keep in mind when I'm tuning it up tomorrow?
Thanks!

Thanks for the input everyone. I'm going to get started on it today. This is what I am going to do:
Oil (any oil recommendations? is dino oil ok or should I go to synth [I usually use M1])
Filter
Plugs
Plug Wires
Distributor
Tranny Fluid
Brake Fluid
Power Steering Fluid
Fuel Filter
Differential fluid
Drain radiator
Am I missing anything?
