dude i've been trying to figure that out with the wet brakes forever, what i finally figured out was that when i hit the brakes in deep snow the tires were cutting through the snow where they slid on top of it and onto the pavement below and grabbed on something fierce, i only noticed it when i slid off the road in the wifes elantra and saw my tracks wheres dotted with little patches of exposed pavement.

good news though is tht everyone seems to have the same problem and were all still driving around lol
