Can I use my stock U-bolts with the RE 3.5 inch lift springs? This would only be temporary, as I am going to swap out the rearend soon. Just that the U-bolts I ordered with the lift are for the axle i am putting in, not the one i have currently, and i dont want to spend the 40 bux on new ubolts if i can just use my stock ones for a month or so.

Measure the length compared to the ones that came with the lift..If they are the same or real close on length should be ok. If they are abit shorter then you may run into an issue. Just don't let them stay on to long as they are likely weakened from age..
