So I got a complete trailer receiver from the junkyard and everything is installed. Now I'm working with the wiring, you know the big round 7 pin connector with the spring door on it. The one that came with the hitch had been smashed, so I went to the yard today to get a nice one. Only problem is I disconnected the wires yesterday in preparation of cutting the harness from the new one. I figured I'd just replace the cut wires for my good ones 1 for 1. Now I get home and the wires are different colors. It seems the PO of the good connector had rewired it in the past. So now I have my good harness with odd colored wires. Does anyone know have a wiring diagram? The colors are black, red, gray, brown, blue, blue white, brown white, gray black. If anyone has a clue I'd be grateful.

check ur local rv dealer they have a wire diagram theyll give to u. u can also get a plug that gets put inline with the factory jeep harness i belive. just ask they would know.
