I bought this 97 and was told it has 5.5 inches of lift but I have not seen anywhere that someone sells a 5.5 lift front coil. Just tryin to figure out what I got. Any help would be apreciated!

 

You could have a shorter coil spring but with spacers for the front. Then you could have longer shackles with springs that could be altered like add a leaf or leaf springs from other compatible vehicles or even new lifted leaf springs. Theres a few posibilities lol good luck hope this helps

 

Measure from the center of the wheel to the lower edge of the OEM flare. IIRC 17"-17.5" was stock height. 5.5" would put it 22.5"-23".

 

The front fenders have been cut, what do you think number would be to the top of the fender? Also there is no spacers on top of coils.

 

top of front fender 28" and bottom of rear side window glass 31-3/4" (from center of wheel)

Rubicon express and Deaver both sell/sold 5.5 coils. There around, so what they told you could have been right.

 

So I installed a "3"" lift kit from Trail master trying to stay under the need for a SYE.. Evidently Im running more like 5.5" at 23" from center of axle to fender.. Not sure if I should be upset or not..

 

trail master is known to do that. Sye time haha
