I have the stock wheels on my jeep with 235/75/15, im looking for some better tires . What is the biggest tire i can fit on the rim without having rubbing issues? Also the suspension is stock.
I do plan in the future to put a small lift on it and aftermarket rims. What back space should i order and rim width? 8 or 10 inch wide?

I've got 235/75/15R Cooper S/T. Love them! An aggressive M/S tire, without a lot of road noise. Their STT's are even more aggressive, but a lot of road noise. (But that size is a hair to big for the factory spare location, And still shut the hatch. Which is still a 225/75/15)

Sorry nothing to do with rubbing but just FYI, rule of thumb when buying aftermarket wheels/tires, your tire should only be a max of 4" wider than your wheel, so if you have your stock 15x7 wheels +4" = a max tire width of 11", had a buddy put 32/11.5/15 on his stockers and...ta da popped the bead off several times (he used to have a tire mount/balance machine so he did his own tires, most if not all places would not allow this to happen) plus it rubbed like crazy...so I guess it did have something a little to do with rubbing after all
