stock death wobble?
is it possible to have a stock death wobble? because me and my buddy were flying down a straight. and hit some tracks. and the front just started shaking. so i hit the brakes and it quit out. Is it possible? im stock 95 auto 4.0

try checking your tire balance as well as your motor mounts. and of course that wonderful diagram. also your drive shaft could be out of balance and in worse cases your harmonic balancer or your crank. after pulling the motor in my other jeep it was no wonder it was about to hop off the road between 50 and 55 as all of this was out of wack.

I had it for 2 yrs intermittent. Finally after trying just about everything my tires just wore out so I put new ones on and BINGO! Death Wobble cured! 1999 Cherokee Sport 4.0L Stock

mine was just recently cured by replacing all the tie rods, also found after that i had bad ball joints so those got replaced too.... could be a number of things as every stated. i found ALOT of play at the pitman arm. i did all 4 tie rods, steering damper, 4 ball joints for about $300 in parts... labor was done by me. I still have yet to do my sway bar links, track bar, and control arm bushings..
