Not sure what you mean by stock amp but I dont see why you couldnt just run speaker wire from the un used wires on the back of your radio to the new speakers ur putting in.

If u only have 2 speakers u should have 2 pairs of extra speaker wires on the wiring harness comming out of the back of your head unit (radio). I have a 98 with only 2 speakers an I have the un used speaker wires too. As for the amp its most likley built into your stock radio which you no longer have. If you want 2 more speakers id splice some new speaker wire into those un used wires on the back of your radio and run it to wherever you want to put the 2 new speakers. Seems like that would be the best way to me, I have 2 6x9's in boxes that I plan on putting in my hatch area and thats what im going to do.
My jeeps got 4 speakers, 2 in the front door and I have the infinity bar in the back. I've replaced my head liner and stereo and found no amp for my rear speakers. It's just connected to my head as far as I know. However if you wanted to run an amp for your rears I advise going to crutchfield.com and talk/e-mail one of their advisers and as well as buy a rear speaker amp from them because they have all the diagrams for almost every vehicle and when you buy anything from them they give you the diagrams and wires for free and their stuff is cheap. (except the wires for sub amps. Idk bout speaker amp wire but they'll give you the diagram for sure)
I hope that helped

Well I just spliced it into the stock wiring like everyone else said. I got my speakers out of an 04 ford focus. And put them on the floor in the back seat. They work real nice because it has a plastic covering over the speaker part!
