PLEASE I need help I have 99 cherokee classic 4.0 with a crank but no start with no spark I replaced some parts but it's stI'll not sparking along with p0340 code popping up even though I have a new cam position sensor in it. Please any advise or guidence would be very appreciated thank u for your time

 

Did you have the code before you installed the new cam positioning sensor? Did you use a Mopar part like most people suggest? Maybe defective out of the box if an aftermarket one. Do you have fuel pressure? If you did not have the code before maybe the crankshaft positioning sensor. Try this test for it maybe.

 

Yes I did have the code before but no I got cam from oriely sence I'm on a budget fuel rail squirting strong when I press the shredder valve and I replaced the crank too considering I've heard about cam code ment crank and visa versa sometimes "at least what I understood from scanner Danner on youtube" I'm started to think if maybe I messed up the conecters on the harness but not sure how to test that just got a test light today and it showed power going to everything so I'm pretty stumped
