Map sensor would be another thing to look at, I dont know how to test those.
EGR leaking a little maybe?

What are you talking about?
You quoted his comment on the distributor cap and said something to the effect of "It needs to be checked with a meter"
Theres nothing to check on a dist cap with a meter, Quick look at them will tell you if they need to be changed or not.
If you were talking about the CAM sensor, thats a different story.
im give people the benifit of the dought i added sensors for the people that might not catch on...me bad

I didnt ask it if "WORKS", I asked if you TESTED AND ADJUSTED it...
"Tested and adjusted" does not mean "played around with".
A bad TPS WILL cause problems.

Then stop being difficult, and answer the questions...

You adjusted the TPS to .85?

Check the MAP sensor too:
Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor (MAP)

MAP sensor.

Located on driver side of firewall just behind & above engine. Located on firewall behind valve cover. To test, using a voltmeter with the ignition on/engine off, voltage at terminal B should be 4 - 5 volts. The voltage should drop to 1.5 - 2.1 volts with a HOT, neutral idle engine. Supply voltage can be checked at terminal C with the ignition on. Voltage there should be 5 volts + or - 0.5 volts (Terminal A is the ground wire).

> What does it do? Compares ambient barometric pressure during start-up (cranking) to engine load while engine is running. The ECU computes that information and adjusts the air-fuel mixture accordingly.
