still running like **** and i cant figure out why!
so basically my jeep runs, but if youre driving its basically starving for fuel, it pops and farts and skips and its just ridiculous to try to drive. ive elimanated, spark plugs, fuel filters (both inline and in the tank), air filter, so it basically comes down to fuel. ive replaced all the orings for the injectors, i replaced the fuel reg. with one from a junkyard (cause really 75 bucks to find out it did nothing just wasnt going to happen) the only ideas i have left are vacuum leaks, air is getting into my fuel lines, the injectors themselves **** the bed, or my fuel pump **** the bed. my biggest issue right now is vacuum seeing as it was all messed up to begin with, some lines were broke, some not connected, and i cant find any decent diagrams/pictures of the vacuum lines so if someone could get me pictures of that id be thankful.
and excuse my language ive just been throwing money at this damn problem for 2 weeks now and still cant figure it out so im getting really aggravated and if it wasnt for the price of scrap being so low where i live i would have already scrapped the damn thing.

But you have money to "throw at this damn problem for 2 weeks."
You obviously think its a fuel problem, so do a fuel pressure check. That is the No1 thing to do...
Renting tools at most parts stores is free, you give them a deposit, use the tool, bring it back and get your money back.

it can run like crap at idle but it never really ever had a steady idle to begin with. but it runs "smooth" like it used to but when you hit the gas it stumbles for a second and then revs

Have you tested the TPS, and tried to adjust it?
Map sensor would be another thing to look at, I dont know how to test those.
EGR leaking a little maybe?
What are you talking about?
You quoted his comment on the distributor cap and said something to the effect of "It needs to be checked with a meter"
Theres nothing to check on a dist cap with a meter, Quick look at them will tell you if they need to be changed or not.
If you were talking about the CAM sensor, thats a different story.

tps works, and ive played around with it before and it only made things worse. seeing as the rough idle never really hurt it i never really bothered with it.
