sterring box question!
I'm curious to know, if anyone would possibly know if a steering box from a jeep TJ would work in a 98 cherokee classic... 4wd

Dunno, but I'll bet you could look up the part number for both of them online, and see if they happen to be the same part number.

I have one from my brother in laws TJ it an 01..and it looks really similar to my xj one..but I just took a quick glance...what are you seeing in differences?

I found out the steering boxes from the TJ and the cherokees are interchangeable certain years anyway...so with that being said i will be able to use the steering box out of the TJ
