1998 cherokee classic

Recently installed a new headunit, subwoofer, & a 2 channel amp hooked up to a component speaker set I installed in the front doors.

Problem: When I power ON the stereo, it automatically locks all of the doors. Pressing unlock does nothing.

I can only unlock them by turning off the stereo. It affects all 4 doors + hatch. Also, even with stereo off I can no longer "lock" the doors, but Honestly I can't remember if I could before or not it has been a while since I drove it

Where do I start? Is there a way to completely disable the automatic lock doors so that even a short won't trip it?

My only possible thought is that I ripped into a wire on the driverside kick panel boot when running component wires, however cutting the power to the factory speaker wires at that area did not change the problem. Which leaves me to believe it can't be that.
