Steering wheel issue i cant find info on
My 94 cherokee has a non tilt column, there is no play when turning wheels but clicking in the steering almost like skipping teeth. If i literally push the steering wheel in it moves a quarter inch or more and then the skipping quits. wondering if anyone else has had this problem? theres no other play and the only thing i can see is the space between wheel and column gets closer. im sure its an easy fix that im overlooking. thanks for any help
