Ok, guys so I've heard two really buyable rumors about things I can do to upgrade the steering on my XJ. I have a couple of questions involving these upgrades:

1.) Get the tierod off of a V-8 Grand Cherokee. Ok, Great. What year models of Grands should I look for in the Junkyard to snag the tierod off of??

2.) Get the steering box out of a Dodge Durango. Ok, Great, again. Is this a direct bolt in swap, once I have the steering box out of the Durango?? What year model Durango should i be looking for in the junkyard to get the steering box out of??

Any V8 ZJ will work.

Not sure on the Durango year, but it is the V8 model. You will notice a much larger hydraulic cylinder on it. (lots fatter on the round end.)

99 dodge durango, from what I hear is a direct swap. I also heard of using pre 94 s-10? but not sure on that one.
