Steering pump removal on a XJ TD 2.5L

Steering pump removal on a XJ TD 2.5L
Hello from Sweden
Need to get a new steering pump. The AC pump (attached to the steering pump) gave up and ended on the freeway (lol). Read the work shop manual (found it on this forum). Have to remove alot of "stuff" to get it out... According to the service manual, the pulley to the pump needs to be removed before the the whole pump can be removed. I have tried "everything". Can NOT get pulley nut out. I need some kind of special tool. Is it possible to get the pump out with the pulley attached?
Anyone here have any experience ?
