Default steering issues

so this is the second time its happened to me. when i turn the steering wheel left or right it makes this like anoyying hum i guess you could call it idk where its coming from and idk how to stop it lol could it just be i need power sterring fluid? has this ever happened to anyone else? any thoughts or ideas would be greatly apprciated

if its happening everytime you turn your wheels, driving or stopped then yes its just your power steering pump, not saying its going bad but, checking the fluid level would help... also what size tires are you running... running a larger tire causes the power steering pump to work harder having to turn more "weight/drag" compared to a stock 215/75/15 tire....

i wouldn't be alarmed though.. my power steering whines alot also, just another one of those things; once you gotten bitten and have treated your jeep to a better look/attitude

yeah it happens both parked and moving and im running 33s on stock axles. so its nothing huge that i need to get fixed right away your saying?

no thats just the sound of your power-steering pump working a little harder thats all..... if you haven't replaced your stock steering stabylizer shock yet that may be a good idea.... the stock stabylizer was designed to handle a 27 or 28" tire and running a set of 33's wears is out... there not expensive, right around $30 try ebay or RC or rusty's they've always got them

yeah i havent and i was just looking at that tonight actually. so the RC one will do just fine? ill def havta order that sometime this week then. thanks man
