steering column trouble

Default steering column trouble

I have an 88 with tilt wheel which something broke in tilt area of column I hsve been told u can buy the parts to fix is it worth it or just replsce whole unit

it is much easier to replace the entire column than it is to repair the innards of a tilt column.
