Any way to fix a leak without putting a new one in?

Craziest thing happened.. Got some stop leak stuff from wal Mart and it actually stopped leaking... Never believed in that stuff. Maybe I got lucky somehow.

That stuff is designed to swell up seals but its just a temporary Band Aid you can put new seals in or get a reman from an autoparts store

A little bit of brake fluid in the power steering will swell the seals and stop the leak most of the time.b
But if the steering box case is cracked you're SOL.

Might as well ask my question in here.

Is it possible to "Adjust" a 99 XJ steering box?

Mine has a dead spot from like 12-3 o'clock.

Check for worn steering parts before trying to adjust the box.

Not the case. Installed a IRO Double Shear Track Bar and Currie HD steering and had it all aligned.

Problem remained. Steering used to be worse, this fixed it a little, but i know the box is shot.

How do you even adjust the box?
