black PIPE which i think you are referring to is gas pipe and NOPE not good!

i would only use DOM tubing for your long arm set up

or a thick box tubing

if you can get your hands on tierods from a big rig you can use them my buddy made his own long arms out of them and they are holding up great

Any tie rods will work, we used them on a 6.5" lift, than went up to 9" and sleeved them

get your hands on some 2 inch .250 wall dom, i bought 22ft of it and its alot bigger than you imagine, its insane if you can buy it by the foot 7 feet would be enough to do lower arms, i think i used 1.75 .120 wall for my uppers with 7/8 heims from ruff stuff
