the steering box in my '94 had a pretty bad leak from the pitman arm seal, i got the replacement seal kit from i think morris4x4 for ~$15, there are actually 2 seals with spacers in between for just the pitman arm; the kit included all that stuff. spent about an hour or so replacing those seals, and it held up fine for the next 8 or so months that i had that jeep.
for 15 bucks you really cant go wrong; but if my box were to start leaking again i would get a durango box from the junkyard just because it'd actually be worth my time to do.
