Default stealership radiator insulators

Needed new ones, stealership got me at $27 a piece.

Crappy service, crappy hours, tried to go after YJ parts til the guys coworker had to help him figure it out. if they weren't the closest to me I'd have just gone elsewhere.

I hate dealerships sometimes.

Buy from a dealer out of town or try NAPA. Not all dealers are the same. Here the dealers routinely want 20-100% over list price. The nice thing is that there are alternatives. When I had a Subaru and needed an A/C compressor it was dealer only. The in town dealer didn't stock it and was more expensive than another dealer sending it FedEx overnight.

What's the part number?

We can find out what true retail is, or if they jack their prices above suggested retail.

P/N is 52002585, same for all 87-01 XJs with the 4.0.

But, as stated, I had to have them, so what am I gonna do?

Prices I saw from online MOPAR parts sites were from $19.09 to $21.58. None mentioned free shipping.

I paid for them already, so in the end it doesn't matter much anymore.

I guess price didn't bother me near as much as the poor service and poor attitude.

I guess I shouldn't expect too much, this is the reputation dealerships have.

Side note, long ago my wife's TJ was acting funny, she took it to this same dealership. Right off they tried to get her to trade it in because "its old and isn't gonna last much longer" or something like that. We still have it, and it's fine.

LUCKILY we have a good dealership w/good service and people. Still don't help with the cost of their parts though.
