Starting jeep
I’ve got a 93 Cherokee. Straight six. I’ve replaced all hot wires to battery and ground wires to battery. Jeep still won’t start sometimes. Sometimes it will. What’s the problem. Not the starter. Not the relay.

No click, no crank? Try holding the key over on start while you jiggle the shiftier around park and neutral. If it cranks your NSS is probably gummy.

I agree with DFlintStone....My first cherokee was a 93 and the shifter was a little shady. SO give that puppy some movement during no-start time to see if it changes. There is a massive amount of information in these forums but I know it helps to have guys direct you first. I learned so much just fixing my xj I feel like I can step in and help the top dawgs. First step when getting a no start condition is to have a helper turn that key while you tweak and probe all the wires in that engine...looking for a shot connection. Also is your situation crank and no start or no crank at all?
