nasty..Cant see any way that doesnt involve drilling

I have a kit with self-centring bits, left-hand bits & extractors.

Taps, and if you muck it up, thread inserts

I think you can get at the HB with the radiator out

The only extraction methods I know are center drilling the bolt with a suitable sized reverse bit/extractor with a drill mounting a keyed chuck (keyless chucks in reverse are pretty useless as they loosen themselves) or, my preference, center drilling the bolt to its the tap size and re-tapping it. Many times the tap will grab the remaining shell of the old bolt and break it free it when reversing the tap during the normally thread cutting process. Much lubrication is a given.

on 2nd thoughts, it would be worth trying poster Firebanes method first, which i also have done

either by building up a tip of mig weld then nut, or placing nut over hole, and welding thru

heats up the fastener so much it wants to come out

only real risk is welding up the hole completely,

then its drilling time.

One other thing...a small hole and tap, heat the broken bolt to red hot, either by oxy, or, by touching arc tip to it, then turning machine on for a few secs

Use a hinge sighting drill tool to get a hole started..helps not to damage the threads..

Watch this vid. Explains how to and what is needed.. This is the way I do busted bolts like yours.
